2022 Beerthoven Volunteer Training

The Beerthoven Concert Series has been bringing high quality, classical chamber music to informal and approachable settings in Austin, TX for over eight seasons--and we couldn't do it without our volunteers!

Just as the first step in any good brew is to mill the grain, releasing fermentable sugars for the brewing process, the first step in making a great Beerthoven season is to gather our Team. Come show us your sweet side and take part in this brief training event so that YOU can be part of bringing great classical music (and beer!) to your community. Please register so we’ll have enough pretzels and beer for you.

  • Returning and new volunteers welcome

  • Get an overview of all the roles and opportunity to choose your niche

  • Learn how to tap a keg! (optional)

  • Connect with other music and beer lovers in the community

  • In true Beerthoven style, free beer from Lazarus Brewing and snacks will be provided!

The Beerthoven volunteer team is a critical ingredient in our concerts, allowing us to continue to provide high quality classical music at an affordable price. Being a part of our team means that you will be helping new audiences enjoy great chamber music in a uniquely approachable format.

Beerthoven concert volunteers provide the hospitality and serve the refreshments that set the stage for our wonderful musicians. Whether it is moving chairs or greeting guests at the door, you'll enjoy being part of the Beerthoven exbeerience.
